Folks:
Somehow, if there's any possiblity at all, John will call me to check-in. If he does, I'll do a quick comment on his blog page to let everyone know. I'm just mentioning this, in case you want to check his blog between now (Sunday eve.) and 4 days from now.

Hi Dad,
Sorry I have not written in a few days. I worked all weekend and Friday Yong and I went to my work's annual holiday party at the Sheraton Inner Harbor. We left the boys at home to take care of each other for the first time at night and they did well. They probably fight less when we are out. I was disappointed to see that you are away now for 4 days. Hope that boat ride treats you well. Hope there is no sea sickness. I loved reading your story about watching the water swirl. Adam kept asking if you had gotten to the part of the trip where you could put a foot in each hemisphere. So I guess you have. Glad to hear you are healthy, learning a lot and having fun! Much love,
Suzanne

John, just arrived home from a week in Cancun. I knew you were interested in going to Peru but had no idea that you had actually made plans. I was really surprised when I finally was able to visit your blog. Are you on an organized tour? With what company? This is a trip that is on my wish list. So, I have been reading your blog with great interest. Sounds wonderful. I don't think I will ever forget the Andes. We saw them on our South American trip when we went to Santiago, Chile.

Since many of my future trips involve Spanish speaking countries, I have been taking Spanish language classes at the community college. It was fun using what little I have learned in Cancun.

Be safe and God speed.

Joan
