Cusco to Macchu Piccu -- day 6

Good to hear from you all. Bert, i did not like the guinea pig. There was nothing there to eat -- like eatting a sparrow with too many bones. Kate, thanks for the note about Shea , that made my heart melt. Boy, do i MISS him. I have been taking a lot of little kid pictures maybe to get my Shea fix. Suz, the family loved the two CD's with your pictures and went on and on about how beautiful you are. I just smiled and said to myself, í know.' We will leave for Macchu Piccu in a few minutes. The altitude i don't seeem to mind when i am upright but when i lie to for bed i seem to snort and gasp trying to get more air in -- ansd the heart seems to beat faster too. Maybe i got blocked sinuses. Bert, i will try and get a window seat on the left side of the train to take in the spectactular river gorge on the way up the mountain. Love everybody.
hasta la vista!!!

Hi My Dear,
Kate and Shea just left and I am ready to go to thier house for a Hanakah dinner. I'm looking forward to a night out with someone else cooking for me. Steve has become a great cook. I can't wait.
I did more shopping today and am almost finished with the kids. Well sort of almost finished. I'll see as I lay it all out on the table, which by the way is several inches high and now covered with a tablecloth. Little Shea is getting very curious.
I think it's interessting that laying down make you breathe differently, but I guess that really does make sense. Maybe propping yourself up a bit with pillows will help.
Thanks for the surprise call last night. How many folks are Christmas shopping and get a call on their cell phone? I feel really special. It's ALWAYS good to hear your voice.
I'll e-mail you later tonight. Oh I forgot to mention that Ginny is reading ALL blogs but can't respond because of technical difficulties. I told her to e-mail you instead.
Love, Jo
